East Legon is Accra’s fastest-growing middle- to upper-income community. Located approximately 14 km northeast of the city centre, East Legon is home to wealthy Ghanaians who have returned from abroad to enjoy their luxury homes. Dzorwulu is situated 30 km southwest of the airport and 6.5 km from the city centre. Accommodation comprises fewer serviced apartments and estate housing. Dzorwulu is quite similar to Labone.
Abelemkpe is located about 6 km north of the city centre and is divided into two parts, Old Abelemkpe and New Abelemkpe. The latter is home to the wealthy, academia and foreigners. Accommodation consists mainly of modern low-rise apartment blocks, although fully furnished executive houses are also available.
Airport Hills is situated northeast of Kotoka International Airport and south of the Tema motorway. Located 10 minutes away from Accra Mall, this neighbourhood features three-, four- and five-bedroom townhouses and houses.
